The "HoHoSkips" mobile app was updated on 28 August 2024 to support the trial "Smart HoHoSkips" self-service construction waste collection and recycling service. Users are advised to update the app in order to use the new self-service recycling feature. For details, please see this website and the updated app.

The Rules for Users of “HoHoSkips Collection Booking” and “Smart HoHoSkips Self-recycling” have been updated. Please note.

The service fees of the HoHoSkips service will be adjusted starting 1 January 2026. In addition to the current weight-based waste disposal charges (i.e. inert waste $71/tonne & non-inert waste $200/tonne), an additional transportation fee of $30 per order will be applied to all vehicle collection services completed during service peak hours^ (except the Smart HoHoSkips service).

10:00 – 11:00 hours & 15:00 – 16:00 hours

Smart HoHoSkips service will serve at 3 new locations on HK Island, Kowloon and Shatin starting January 2026. For more details, please refer to the Smart HoHoSkips Service Schedule.

In response to the increased volume of general waste that needs to be handled by FEHD RCPs before and after the Luna New Year holidays, the SHHS service locations at Shatin Yuen Chau Kok RCP and Kowloon Tong Baptist University Road RCP will temporarily suspend the construction waste self-recycling services from 2 Feb 2026 to 6 Mar 2026.

Meanwhile, the two SHHS service locations at Kwai Chung Kwong Fai Lane and Victoria Road will enhance their services during the same period. Please refer to the SHHS Service Schedule to check the service arrangement for the next 14 days.
